El Conejo beckons diners with its vibrant ambiance, offering a taste of Mexico that feels both authentic and approachable. Located in Gustavo A. Madero, this hidden gem is consistently praised for its delicious offerings and reasonable prices. Customers rave about the tortilla soup and Alban-style enmoladas, with many describing them as "finger-licking good."
While the restaurant can get bustling and cozy due to its size, it contributes to a lively dining experience. Some patrons highlight the friendly service, although a few have noted periods of slower service during peak hours. For instance, a review from Daniel Alonso Pacheco mentions quick food delivery and a welcoming atmosphere, while Carlos Hernandez points out that the tiny space can lead to longer waits.
Despite minor critiques regarding service speed and venue maintenance, El Conejo remains a beloved choice, making it ideal for family outings. With dishes that not only satisfy but delight, the restaurant effectively captures the warmth of Mexican cuisine. If you seek a flavorful meal without breaking the bank, El Conejo should definitely be on your radar.

Good atmosphere, the wait time wasn't long (I went on a Sunday after May 10th), the service was very friendly, they didn't take long to serve the food and it tasted good, the price is reasonable for what you get.

Excellent restaurant, the service was quite slow, even taking a while to collect the money, and the wait is very long because the place is small. Other than that, it's an excellent place, with good dishes at affordable prices.

The prices and quality are very good. I ordered a Toluqueno omelet, I just didn't like that the potatoes were not natural. The service is good although they were very rushed and it took them a long time to serve my dish while my companion was already finishing. We waited about 25 minutes outside for a table without anything to provide shade. It is a very noisy place. In general, good to go with the family and spend an appropriate price, in my case 110 per person. The bathroom is already very run down and there are details that would be worth taking care of so that they are in accordance with the good food. Yes, I would return since they serve from early on Sunday.

It's a small, busy place because it's affordable, and the food is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend the tortilla soup and the Alban-style enmoladas. They're finger-licking good. The only downside is that the servers are so busy that they're not unpleasant, even rude. If they'd improve that aspect, I'd give them a 10 out of 10. It's hard to get parking, but the food is worth it.

The food is delicious and well served. When it's busy, you have to wait because it gets crowded, but it's worth it if there aren't too many lines. When it's early, it's a great option for a delicious breakfast.

Excellent place. The food is good and abundant, the bunny chocolate is delicious and the meat is just right, soft and well seasoned. The only bad thing is the coffee, which is supposed to be from a pot and is actually American: without cinnamon or piloncillo. They have good service and attention; The prices are fair for what they serve. The decoration is simple but pretty. There are few vegetarian options, there is space for a wheelchair. It is not pet friendly.
